In May 2018 Woodgrove unveiled the 'Sign of Hope' graphic installation, celebrating the Centre's ongoing partnership with Hope Street.
The installation raises awareness for the valuable services Hope Street provides for vulnerable young people, with graphics illustrating Hope Street's clients' journey through the lifecycle of homelessness and the charity's influence on it.
In conjunction with this installation, Woodgrove also produced the Stories of Hope campaign, in an effort to further amplify the voices of Hope Street and highlight the strength of young people in the Melton community.
Hope Street Chief Executive, Donna Bennet, said the partnership with Woodgrove has been invaluable in raising awareness of homelessness in the community and helping the most vulnerable of Melton’s youth.
Woodgrove Centre Manager, Kylie Robertson, said that this partnership is invaluable and rewarding for both the Centre and the surrounding community.
“We have been a proud supporter of Hope Street since 2015, and alongside our latest Sign of Hope installation, we have continued to contribute to their Hope to Home project through the donation of more than $12,000 in Centre gift-cards, to allow the purchase of professional clothes for residents’ job interviews, or to simply help them adjust into a stable life," Ms Robertson said.
