Set on a 900-hectare greenfield site within Melbourne’s booming northern corridor, Merrifield is Victoria’s largest mixed-use masterplanned community.

Envisioned as a new epicentre for suburban culture and industry, it's where like-minded people come to live, work, learn and play.

One of Australia's fastest growing suburbs, Merrifield is 30km from Melbourne CBD with easy access to the Hume Freeway and planned Outer Metropolitan Ring Road. Defined by young families and couples in possession of new homes and hopes, Merrifield's total trade area population is expected to swell from around 67,000 in 2021 to more than 224,000 in 2041.*

At the heart of this new community sits Merrifield City, a major retail and lifestyle hub offering a varied and evolving mix of shopping, dining, civic and cultural experiences. The precinct will be delivered by QICGRE over a multi-year horizon in joint venture with MAB Corporation and Gibson Property Corporation, ultimately covering 30 hectares.

In December 2020, we unveiled the first stage of Merrifield City in the form of a 7000m2 precinct featuring national and best-in-class independent retailers who share our ambition to serve the whole-life needs of a burgeoning community. The next wave of retailer openings is slated for early 2021.
